MODERN RESCUE
Modern Rescue and Safety Equipment was founded in 1986 by Steve Zimmerman and David Hood, two now retired Greensboro (NC) Fire Department Battalion Chiefs. For over thirty years, they supplied fire and rescue equipment to fire departments, rescue squads, private industries, and individuals. Seeking to enjoy their retirement a bit more they decided to sell their business to a fellow Fire Captain , Justin Hite and a private partner. Justin worked hard to continue the tradition and service provided by Chief Zimmerman and Chief Hood the past few years. In late 2021 Justin was approached by Fire and Rescue Concepts for acquisition.
